Privacy policy

Data and purpose
We process a store's Shopify domain and identifier, buyer name and email, requested product variants and quantities, buyer requirements, merchant notes, quote status, and linked draft order identifiers. We use this information to receive quote requests, help merchants negotiate orders, create Shopify drafts, and fulfill privacy obligations. We do not sell personal information or use buyer requests for advertising.
Access and processing
The merchant controls buyer information. Erdal Dursun processes it to provide this service. Shopify processes installation, authorization, subscriptions, orders and invoice delivery. Cloudflare provides application hosting and the D1 database. Processing may occur outside your country through these service providers. We use HTTPS, verified Shopify session tokens, scoped database queries, and authenticated privacy webhooks.
Private buyer proposals
When a merchant creates a private proposal link, the link contains an encrypted snapshot of buyer name, customer-facing notes, products and Shopify-calculated prices. Internal notes and buyer email are excluded. Anyone with the link can view the proposal until its chosen expiry (at most 30 days). Merchants can revoke all links for a quote; editing, declining or deleting the quote also invalidates its links. Downloaded or printed copies cannot be withdrawn.
Retention and deletion
Quote records are scheduled for deletion after 365 days, except unresolved draft or invoice attempts which need reconciliation. Uninstall and Shopify shop-redaction requests remove stored shop data. Customer-redaction requests remove matching quote data. Privacy requests remain until handled or the relevant shop/customer is removed. Completed requests have their customer identity cleared, and completed request metadata is scheduled for deletion after 30 days. Monthly aggregate usage contains no buyer identity. Encrypted infrastructure backups may remain within Cloudflare's recovery window.
Your rights
Buyers should contact the store for access, correction, or deletion. Merchants can contact contact@96systems.com. Shopify privacy requests are available to the merchant through QuoteForth's authenticated privacy workflow. We may need to verify identity before responding.
